“Coming to Androscoggin was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life.”

Lori Dyer
Palliative RN Clinical Coordinator

Before coming to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice I worked at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center for 32 years, specializing in Oncology. Coming to Androscoggin was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The culture at Androscoggin is supportive, respectful, encouraging, and compassionate. This past year the team lost a patient suddenly and unexpectedly. The nurse practitioner and I had a close relationship with the patient and the team, as well as leadership here, rallied behind us and made it a better experience.

Since being here, I have really increased my knowledge in Palliative Care, management of symptoms, and goals of care. Each time that I advocate for a patient and get something done that they are unable to do for themselves, it is a good feeling. I enjoy my job and I feel this is a place in my career that I will stay.
