Clinician Spotlight: Jesse Michaud
Work/life balance and a culture of family first and patient first is why Occupational Therapist Jesse Michaud chooses Androscoggin.
“As an occupational therapist there is no better way to help someone to be independent than in their own home.”
As an occupational therapist, there is no better way to help someone be independent than in their own home. Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice means the world to me. To work for an organization that matches values and morals and is truly part of the community is amazing. The culture is family first/patient first. I feel supported every day. And having a flexible schedule means that I can be at my kids’ events and appointments. It gives me a great work/life balance.
Since becoming employed to Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice seven years ago, I have grown as an occupational therapist. Before coming to here I had been working in skilled nursing and home care specializing in Lymphedema. Since being here I have expanded into wound care with the help of the wound care team. Whether trouble shooting patients, helping cover schedules or getting supplies from the office, Androscoggin provides me with a great sense of community, a “family” feel.
