Before working at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice (Androscoggin), I had experience working as a nurse in pediatrics, orthopedics, home health, and also participated in employee education. I came to Androscoggin six years ago because of its reputation and have found a sense of belonging here. The culture is awesome. I work a 32-hour flexible schedule so I can spend one day a week with my granddaughter. They’re also very supportive and encourage professional advancement. I was recommended for my certification programs by a coworker and have since become wound and ostomy certified, and most recently became a preceptor.
Working at Androscoggin feeds my soul of helping my fellow humans. We are able to keep patients home where they want to be, safely. Every time I have a successful wound outcome I know that I have helped that patient back to wellness. I know that we provide the best possible care to our communities.
