Aimee Dufour, RN
Home Hospice Nurse
I am a home hospice nurse at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice. I was originally interested in joining the organization because it was a non-profit, but ultimately chose to be employed here because the mission resonated with me. Coming from a hospital background, I was looking for a position with close patient contact that followed a caring and compassionate team approach. Androscoggin fulfilled that for me.
Working as a home hospice nurse at Androscoggin gives me autonomy to do my job but with the support of my fellow employees right there for me every day I walk into the office. The whole organization genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for employees. Working in home healthcare has brought many an adventure to new areas of Maine, and the ability to schedule some appointments around my personal schedule has been a huge benefit. After 18 years and counting, I consider Androscoggin my work family.
