Trisha DuBois, RN, WCC, OMS, Wound Resource Nurse at Androscoggin Home Healthcare and Hospice presented at Wild on Wounds, a National Wound Care Conference that was held in September in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dubois presented on the topic of “Collaborative Partnerships to Drive Cost-Effective Outcomes for Wound Management in Home Healthcare” alongside representatives from Crawford Healthcare, a manufacturer of wound dressings, and Cardinal Health, a product distributor. They demonstrated opportunities to effectively work together in increasing competency and cost-effectiveness in home healthcare. A pictorial guide demonstrating the stages of wound dressing was introduced for patients with Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Venous Leg Ulcers, and Traumatic Wound/ Hematoma.

DuBois has been invited to present again at their 2019 conference.
