Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice is pleased to offer Health Insurance Coverage through an
Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA). An ICHRA is a new and innovative
way for Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice to offer health insurance to our employees and their
eligible dependents. Annually, Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice sets the amounts we will
reimburse employees (based on employment status, age, and geographic location) for individual
coverage purchased by our employees. We have partnered with Take Command Health to administer
the ICHRA plan.
A health savings account (HSA) is a medical, pre-tax benefit savings account that can be used with qualified high deductible health plans (HDHP). To have an HSA, you must be enrolled in an HSA compatible plan (please be sure to confirm this with Take Command Health) and you must not be covered by Medicare (or any other Non-QHDHP).
Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice allows employees to set up an HSA account at the financial institution of your choice.

Unum has licensed Professional Counselors available 24/7 and also Work/Life Specialists to answer questions and find resources in your community.
Androscoggin is about living! Our tagline is “for Health. for Life.” Providing care at end-of-life is important for our patients and their families. We know that our staff may also experience the need to be with, and care for, a family member. At Androscoggin, continuing education is important for our staff and clinicians to stay up to date with training, techniques, and general information. We support payment for job related educational workshops based on status and paid time to attend.
Ensuring that our leaders have the tools, resources and knowledge they need to be successful is vital to the success of our teams. Androscoggin meets this priority in the following ways:
- All-staff orientation and preceptor for clinical staff
- Dedicated clinical staff educators
- Online Learning Modules for general and role specific education
- Monthly Management Day
- New Leader Mentoring
- Emerging Leaders program
A safe and reliable vehicle is vitally important to our clinicians in order to travel to visit and take care of our patients.
