TD Bank Thanksgiving Dinner Donation

It’s become an annual tradition for the staff over at TD Bank.  A few years back they asked how they could help. We wanted to be able to provide a nice Thanksgiving day meal for our patients and their families at the Hospice House but needed a little help rounding up the needed groceries.  TD Bank employees stepped up to help. Each year their donation has continued to grow.  They collect food items and cash which they then use to do all our Thanksgiving shopping.  They arrive with cars full of turkeys, hams, stuffing, potatoes, squash, cranberry sauce, vegetables, desserts and so much more.

Thanks to the generosity of TD Bank employees, and our Hospice House volunteers who help to prepare, serve, and clean up the meal, our patients and their families get to enjoy a little joy of tradition during a difficult time. “This is the time for families to be together,” said Kate Sicotte, Hospice House Supervisor. “We hope that these special touches help to make our patients and their families feel a little more at home while at the house and have the opportunity to continue to make some happy memories together.”
